About us

Agramata is the short name for Agrícola Amata S.A. and it was founded 1989. Its head office is close to the international airport and exports tropical flowers, foliage as well as rooted tips and plants, see: www.agroas.com.

Agramata cultivates its flowers and foliage on different farms all over Costa Rica.
You can find them in the highlands close to Zarcero and Heredia and in the tropical zones near Guapiles and San Carlos, as well as in the northern region around Pital.

Agramata owns some of the farms, whereas others belong to family growers, sometimes by 2nd or 3rd generation.

Very important:

Agramata guarantees friendly production and handling of all greens, absolutely no child work, all employees are ensured by social security and risks. The salaries correspond to the country's recommendation.

Our goal:

We are seeking for new exciting plants that might interest the costumers. We also offer flexibility in packing and shipping, permitting different composition of products, size of boxes etc. Large and constant orders are rewarded with attractive prices!
